Who is this guy anyway?
I'm a former scientist and current homemaker who just decided to get a kayak one day. After probably too much research and spending more on a boat I could fit in the trunk of my Mustang than I should have, I started paddling around the rivers and lakes of Washington. Specifically, the ones within a short drive of my house with an occasional longer trip.

I started posting about my trips on my social media pages and eventually decided to do something a bit more formal with it. That was the genesis of this page. I'm far from an expert. I'm just trying to do some fun little paddles and figured some other folks might want to hear about them. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Other than that, I've got a wife and two cats (in that order) and not as much free time as I'd like.
